Institutions Built on Relationships
Universities, religious communities, nonprofit organizations, and civic institutions play an essential role in the work of Abraham’s Bridge. They provide places where scholarship, education, service, and leadership can thrive. Strong institutions create opportunities for ideas to grow into conferences, publications, educational exchanges, collaborative research, and initiatives that benefit wider communities.
For Abraham’s Bridge, however, institutional partnerships rarely begin with institutions themselves.
They begin with people.
Relationships developed over time with scholars, educators, clergy, administrators, and community leaders are the foundation upon which broader partnerships are built. As trust grows between individuals who share common interests and a commitment to serious learning, opportunities naturally emerge for collaboration between the institutions they serve.
Meaningful partnerships are sustained because people within those institutions choose to work together, continue learning from one another, and remain committed to a shared purpose.
This relationship-first approach also creates flexibility.
Many collaborative projects begin long before institutional agreements form. Faculty members may undertake research together. Scholars may co-author publications. Educational leaders may develop conferences, lectures, or exchanges. Religious and civic leaders may explore opportunities for cooperation within their own communities.
As those relationships mature, institutions often become natural partners in expanding and sustaining the work.
Today, Abraham’s Bridge maintains partnerships and working relationships with universities, religious communities, nonprofit organizations, and research institutions across North America, Europe, and the Middle East. These include collaborations with institutions such as the University of Toronto, the University of Saint-Joseph, the American University of Lebanon, Tel Aviv University, the University of Haifa, Highland Park Presbyterian Church, InterAct, Faith Commons, and numerous other academic and civic partners.
Together, these relationships support conferences, publications, lectures, educational initiatives, and the ongoing work of cultivating trust across traditions.
Institutions extend the reach of our work; relationships give those institutions something worth sustaining.

Blessed are the makers of peace,
for they shall be called the children of God.
